Online Course Creation Reflection

This process has been a really nice experience for me. I am creating and designing my own online class. I had always wanted to do this, but didn’t have the time to do it. Now that it is a mandatory assignment to do, I feel great! I feel amazing that I can be doing what I always wanted.

So far, my course looks good. I am letting students use different apps and integrate them into their tool belt. At the same time, they are learning langauge arts skills that will let help them understand better when they read any fiction story. At the same time, they will be learning coding and robotics and they will be able connect their reading skills and robotics in a real life situation.

In this stage of my course, I believe it is clear and concise. I am explaining the things they need to do in writing and with How To Videos. As well, the assignments are meaningful with real life connections.

At this moment, I am in week 2 of my Master’s class. I am designing the 50% of my onilne class.

So far I already included in different folders grades, expectations, modules by weeks, assignments, due dates, help section. To be more organized, there will be folders with links to the assignments and discussions.

As well, the assignments had been laid out and have descriptions and examples of what to do. Discussions have guidelines and expectations.

This is a work in progress. As for January 31, 2021, my class is still a Work in Progress. You can go over my general outline to have a peek. I will update that outline after I get my professor’s feedback.

I am so excited about my feedback!

Thank you for stopping by!
