My Influencer Strategy Plan

What results do I want to achieve with my innovation change strategy?

I want teachers to use robotics and computer science to incorporate computational thinking in their classrooms. One big benefit from computational thinking is that develops the brain into finding solutions to different challenges. Fosters side-line thinking or out-of-the-box thinking

How will I measure these results?

By the end of the year, at least 3 teachers will be using robotics embedded into their instruction at least once every two weeks.

I will be able to measure this:

During our group sessions. Monitor and ask how things are going with the plan and the students. Ask how many times during the last week they used robotics and computational thinking in during their classes.

Three vital behaviors I wish to change

First: Teachers learning robotics themselves.

Second: Teachers integrating computational thinking into their curriculum.

Third: Teachers meeting and coming together to hold each other accountable, and support each other.

Who is my target and my organizational influencers?

I will be targeting math and science teachers. I have learned that these teachers are more willing to find the connection between robotics and computer science into math and science.

My influencers will be one or two teachers among the math and science groups. These teachers will be chosen based on their group acceptance and well respected. I will research  and observe those teachers which their colleagues seek for their opinions and insights.
