Time Monday June 24 Personal Notes
8:45 Teachers’ introduction, expectations, assignment of Ipads, Apple ID creation/assigning    
9:45 Introduction to iPads basics features: Home button, Air Drop, Change Apps. Two Finger Gestures, Accessibility, ScreenShot  Show, Model, Practice by letting them play with the device.    
10:30 Introduction to coding. Find out students knowledge level of coding by an A-B Sharing activity. Let them talk. Students share with the class their sharings. Sent. Stem: For my partner, coding is ________ Teacher explains basic coding: Ex. “set of commands given to a computer” Teacher shows Apple Videos Accessibility (apple.com/accessibility)or Apple Watch Real Stories (YouTube: Apple Watch — Real Stories — Apple  
11:00 Partner Up Set in pairs advanced users with basic users by doing a Conga line which will be folded in half.    
11:10 1st Activity: Hide and Seek. Create video to locate a hidden object. Use Camera App. Model and Practice with paired partners. Share with AirDrop. Discuss where can their videos help in a real life situation. Students write down their thoughts on Notes.    
12:15 Lunch Break (estimated time. Each campus determines this)    
12:45 Wellness or other moving activity (Each campus determines this)    
13:00 Introduction to Key Notes. Teacher explains and models basic use of Key Notes Teacher explains what is a Reflective Journal and why it is important to have it. Teacher can share own Reflective Journal From Camp Students start “Student Reflective Journal” by using all available resources: typing, images, photos, audio and video.    
13:45 Dismissal    
Time Tuesday June 25 Personal Notes
8:45 Review everything from the previous day. If some students did not finish their Reflective Journal, allow them to finish.    
9:00 Share: Students share with the class and teacher what they’ve created by: A-B activity or Gallery WalkAir Drop    
9:15 Introduction to Swift Playgrounds. Playground: Learn to Code 1 Retake the idea of coding and explain more. Discuss with students its possible reaches in real life.Explain and Show what is Swift Playgrounds. Model coding and the actions of ByteAllow students to work on the first 4 lessonsIf some students finish early, ask them to help others. They can also continue to the next lessons.      
10:15 Fun with Playground: MeeBot Students will record themselves dancing and then will make MeeBot do the same movements.Students record MeeBot movements with the record option inside PlaygroundsStudents put both videos together in iMovie and create their video.Students share with AirDropTeacher Shows the class the videos  
11:45 Reflective Journal and Socializing Students work on their Reflective Journal Students share their creations with AirDrop

8:45 Review everything from the previous day. Students create a Vocabulary List in a nested slide in KeyNotes. Students can create videos, examples, selfies.    
9:45 Share: Students share with the class and teacher what they’ve created by: A-B activity or Gallery WalkAir Drop    
10:00 Introduction to Clips Students identify an Alief community’s problem or  place for more promotion. A park, a school, an eventStudents will create in teams a 30 to 45 second video to solve the community problem or promote a place.Students create a poster Teacher introduces Clips, shows and creates a quick 30 second video.      
11:30 Cotinue with Playgrounds Learn to Code 1 Module II starts

9:15 Introduction to Pages Students create a self portrait using PagesTeacher models

10:30 Wrap Up Activity Students will create a movie (iMovie or Clips) and create a whole video to show what they learned. They can record themselves, record their coding playing, use their created images and everything they’ve done. Music has to be in Voice Over has to be in
