These are my two sons and me! In our first American Summer Camp!
A little about me:
I am national from Mexico. I got my BA in Science Communication at ITESM University. On 2015, I got my Bilingual Teacher Certification and since then I’ve been teaching at Alief ISD in Houston, Texas.
Since I started, I’ve been a Language Arts teacher and had had the opportunity to grow and develop inside my school district. Besides teaching bilingual kids, I am part of the STEM academy on my campus among other 9 teachers.
In my classroom, you can see different styles of learning and teaching. I believe that learning has to be like life: real. That is why I am constantly adapting my instruction so my kids can have meaningful learning.
I enjoy teaching, but I like to call it Sharing Knowledge. One of my passion is to help, and I think that by teaching I can do that.
Another passion of mine is digital blended learning. I believe technology and digital tools are must that any profession should implement. That is why I constantly try to implement it in my class with my students.
As for now, I am excited to start implementing my new Apple and Coding skills in my classroom.
My hobby is my family. Most of my free time I spend it with them, and if it’s not with them will be as a handyman.
